To qualify for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises banking services, your company must meet the following requirements.

  • 1The company must not be a public shareholding company, an insurance company or a financial brokerage company.
  • 2Total assets or annual sales must be below JOD 1 million.
  • 3The company must employ between 5 and 20 employees.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises banking services, your company must meet the following requirements.

  • 1Total assets must range between JOD 1 million and JOD 3 million.
  • 2Annual sales must range between JOD 1 million and JOD 3 million.
  • 3The company must employ between 21 and 100 employees.

Required Documents

  • Copy of the company registration certificate showing the authorised signatories.
  • Audited financial statements for the previous three years, or financial information if the company does not prepare audited statements.
  • Copy of the memorandum of association and articles of association.
  • A recent trial balance stamped by the company, together with all required supporting disclosures.
  • Copies of the partners' national identification cards.
  • Statements for accounts held with other banks for the previous six months, where applicable.
  • A formal facility request letter on the company's letterhead specifying the amount and type of facilities requested, purpose, proposed collateral, repayment schedule and sources of repayment.
